Cam Is Pregnant, Expecting First Child With Husband Adam Weaver
Cam has been keeping a big secret: She's pregnant! The singer-songwriter and her husband Adam Weaver are expecting their first child together before the end of this year.
Cam and Weaver announced their big news on Instagram on Tuesday morning (Oct. 15). She's already seven months along in her pregnancy.
"We've been keeping a secret to ourselves for the past seven months, but we feel like it's time to let you guys in on it," Cam says into the camera before it pulls back to reveal her baby bump. She does a little dance and laughs before the video's end.
Cam and Weaver have been married for about three years: They tied the knot in September of 2016, in Joshua Tree, Calif., after getting engaged in September of 2015. Weaver is a Nashville-based business broker and commercial real estate agent.
The couple has not revealed the sex of their first child. The singer is due around Christmas, based on her revelation that she is seven months along right now.
Cam released her major-label debut album, Untamed, in 2015. Her single "Burning House" was a No. 2 hit at country radio, but subsequent songs have failed to make headway on the charts, and, thus, she has yet to release another album. The California native has earned herself a dedicated following and continues to tour, though, and has been vocal about the struggles women in the country music genre face.
