Delhi Traffic Stop Leads To Felony Arrest

A traffic stop in Delhi resulted in a felony arrest. According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, 20-year-old Muhammed Sylla of the Bronx was a passenger in a vehicle stopped last Thursday on State Highway 20 and an investigation determined Sylla was in possession of marijuana resulting in a third degree drug possession charge with is a class E felony. Sylla appeared in Town of Delhi Court then booked into the Delaware County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 secured bond.
