A Delhi woman was arrested on February 1 for stealing and using the credit card an an elderly woman she was a home health aid for.  According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested and charged 31 year-old Brandi A. Wyckoff  with the class E felony crime of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and three counts of Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor.

Wyckoff conducted a series of purchases on the credit card totaling over $1000 during the month of September 2019.  Wyckoff was arraigned at the Town of Delhi Court where she was released on her own recognizance pending further court action.

Sheriff Craig DuMond strongly encourages those seeking private home health care assistance, along with their families, to thoroughly research and vet prospective individual care providers, request a list of references from care provider and then spend time talking with those references prior to deciding on employing a particular care provider.
