Halloween activities will be abundant in downtown Oneonta on Tuesday, October 31st.  Main Street, Oneonta will be closed off from Chestnut Street to Elm Street from 2 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to accommodate trick or treaters and the parade.The Oneonta Halloween Parade organized by Kiwanis will start at 7:00 p.m.  Anyone can participate in the parade with line up starting at 6:10 p.m. on Elm Street and continuing until 6:45 p.m. for those interested. The costume judging will take place at 6:45 p.m. as well.

Along with the parade, Destination Oneonta will provide various fun Halloween-themed games for kids in Muller Plaza from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.. Also, trick-or-treating will last from 3-6 p.m. at several participating downtown Oneonta businesses. You can get a list of participating trick or treat stops at Destination Oneonta (Dietz St.) or they will be handed out by volunteers located in the walkway between the parking garage and Main Street.
