Susquehanna SPCA Pet of the Week – Salamander
Meet the Susquehanna SPCA “Pet of the Week” – his name is Salamander. Each week on Thursday mornings at 8:30 am on Classic Hits 103.1fm, Josh will host Allison Hungerford, licensed Vet Tech at the Susquehanna SPCA, who will tell us all about a special dog or cat at the shelter looking for its forever home which has been overlooked by visitors for some reason. Many times, it's because many animals are shy while in the shelter because it can be a stressful situation! Once adopted, many cats and dogs warm right up to their owners.
Meet Salamander! This 2-year-old male cat is ready to “leap” into your heart with his friendly spirit and playful antics! Salamander is a true “purr-odigy” when it comes to adventure—whether he’s climbing to new heights or exploring every nook and cranny, he’s always on the lookout for his next “meow-nificent” quest. With his charming personality and zest for life, Salamander is sure to bring endless joy and “paw-sitive” energy to your home. If you’re ready for a furry friend who’s always up for fun, come meet Salamander and let the adventures begin!
Come meet Salamander and the other adoptable pets today - Susquehanna SPCA is open from 11am to 5pm.
To meet Salamander or any of the other adoptable dogs and cats, give the SQSPCA a call at 607-547-8111 to schedule a time to visit for convenience and for more personal attention from staff, although walk-ins are welcome.
