It's the most wonderful time of the year. But, for this article, it's not about the wonderful holiday season; it's about the wonderful 2026 concert announcements that seem to be coming in droves.

No matter the music format - rock, country, pop, latin, etc., it seems almost daily that we are finding out about another artist/band going on tour next year, including The Weeknd, Metallica, Chris Stapleton, Rush, Bad Bunny, Riley Green, Guns N' Roses, Cardi B, Morgan Wallen, U2, Ed Sheeran, David Byrne, Zac Bryan, Bon Jovi, The Gues Who, Ariana Grande, Journey, Rascal Flatts, Foreigner, Poison, and Olivia Rodrigo, to name a few.

This Tour Begins At Bethel Woods

Another concert tour in 2026 will feature Toto, featuring The Romantics and Christopher Cross. This is a 32-date tour, kicking off just down he road, at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, New York on July 15th.

Local Connection To The Toto Tour

This tour will have a local connection. According to a social media post, Mike Rizzi wrote that he will be drumming with the Romantics on the tour. Mike hails from Endwell, is a graduate of Maine-Endwell High School, and has toured with several national acts, including Tony Lewis from The Outfield, The Sweet Tea Project, which features Ed Roland of Collective Soul, and with John Driskell Hopkins, who co-founded the Zac Brown Band.

Mike has also had roles in television and in movies. Back in 2022, Traci Taylor of 98.1 The Hawk wrote an interesting article about Mike Rizzi. You can check out the article here.

Members of the Romantics on this tour include Wally Palmar, lead vocals; Coz Canler, lead guitar; Bruce Witkin, bass; Joey Malone, guitar, and, of course, Mike Rizzi on drums.
