What Is A Hotdogger?
According to Kraft/Heinz, a Hotdogger is "a Customer, Consumer, and Social Media superstar that drives traffic to stores/events..." Basically, you are an ambassador of the Oscar Mayer Hot Dog with the privilege of driving a 27-foot Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, bringing joy and smiles to people around the country.
1988 was the first year for the Hotdogger Program, designed to develop top talent, grow future leaders of the company, and create gamechangers, innovators, and cultural champions, according to the job posting from Kraft/Heinz.
The Oscar-Mayer Wienermobiles first took to the highways in 1936. We had one of the vehicles appear in a Halloween parade in downtown Binghamton several years ago.
