The Fort Hill American Legion in Oxford is all set to welcome the holiday season with a special event that promises to be a treat for the entire family.

The dining hall at the Oxford American Legion has been decorated by the Auxiliary Unit 376, creating a festive atmosphere that perfectly complements the occasion. On Sunday, December 15th, starting at 7:30 a.m., families are invited to enjoy a delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast while being visited by very important guests from the North Pole – Santa, Mrs. Claus, and a couple of their elves!

Mr. and Mrs. Claus, accompanied by their friendly elves, are scheduled to arrive at the Post at 9:00 a.m. Children will have the opportunity to get up close with Santa and share their secret wishes for the presents they desire to find under the tree. Parents are encouraged to capture this memorable moment with cameras, ensuring lasting memories of the magical encounter with Santa and his helpers.

Terrill Sutton, the president of ALA Unit 376, enthusiastically shared, “Mr. and Mrs. Claus are coming to Oxford; kids bring your lists, Santa will check it twice…

The breakfast menu offers a spread including pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, home fries, French toast, orange juice, and a selection of hot beverages such as tea, coffee, and hot chocolate.

The cost for the breakfast is as follows: Adults $9; Senior Citizens and Firemen $8; Children aged 6 to 12 years $7; and for children aged 2 to 5 years, admission is $2. Children under 2 years, volunteers, and reorders are granted complimentary entry, although a price of $10 is applicable for take-outs.

Post 376 is also collecting non-perishable food donations. Those attending are encouraged to contribute to this cause to support those in need.
