New York’s Finger Lakes Named a Top Wine Region in the United States
Upstate New York's Finger Lakes region is getting some major national recognition for its incredible wineries, vineyards, and sparkling lakes.
USA Today's 10Best has named the Finger Lakes one of the top 10 wine regions that you must visit in the United States. The Finger Lakes was awarded the fourth spot, coming in just behind California's Paso Robles and Temecula Valley, as well as Colorado's Grand Valley.
Boasting over 130 wineries and vineyards, the Finger Lakes region captivates visitors with its picturesque landscapes, shimmering lakes, and dedication to crafting exceptional wines. Riesling wine takes center stage in many of the region's wineries, and each bottle proudly features the names of the three American Viticultural Areas that define the grape-growing regions: Finger Lakes, Cayuga Lake, and Seneca Lake.
