Popular Frozen Food Recalled Over Listeria Concerns in New York
If you know me, then you know that I really like frozen dinners. If your a frozen dinner fan too then I have some important news for you, especially if you're in New York. There has been a food recall, and it affects a popular frozen meal brand.
The Nutrition Corp of Moosic, Pennsylvania is recalling the Crustless Chicken Potato Pot Pie from Frozen Fresh N Lean. There's a chance that it might be contaminated with Listeria, and no one wants that.
This recall was announced by the Food and Drug Administration on April 25th, 2024, and it's still going on. The recalled products have made their way to stores not just in New York, but across the United States. So, be on the lookout.
So look in your freezer for the Frozen Fresh N Lean's Crustless Chicken Potato Pot Pie, if it is there, it's time to say goodbye. Toss it in the trash or, if you know where you bought it, take it back to the store and get a refund. Whatever you do, DON'T EAT IT.

Listeria Is a sneaky bacteria, so don't let it fool you. Even if your food looks and smells fine, it can still make you sick. If you've already eaten the recalled Pot Pie and you're feeling a little off, pay attention to the way you feel because Listeria can take up to 70 days.
If you find yourself vomiting, nauseous, achy feverish, have a headache or a stiff neck, it could be more than everyday life, it could be Listeria. If you think that you've been exposed to Listeria, get ahold of your doctor.
If you are a vulnerable people, then you need to be extra careful. This includes pregnant women, the elderly, young children, and people with weakened immune systems.
Pregnant women should really be cautious, because Listeria infections can lead to premature delivery, infection of the newborn, or even stillbirth. If your not sure, be on the safe side and see a physician.
