Motorcycle Registration Deadline Is Today

Those taking their motorcycles out of winter storage are being reminded by the Department of Motor Vehicles that they have until today to renew their registrations. Unlike vehicle registrations motorcycles are registered for a year and all expire on April 30. Also, motorcycles must be inspected at least once every 12 months at a station licensed by the DMV to perform motorcycle safety inspections. Liability insurance is required for operating motorcycles on public highways as it is for other motor vehicles.
