
New Regulations For Real Estate Professionals To Combat Housing Discrimination
New York State has new protections to combat housing discrimination that will be available to real estate professionals. According to Governor Cuomo's Office, the regulations approved by the New York State Real Estate Board mandate enhanced disclosures by real estate professionals to help ensure prospective home buyers, renters, sellers and landlords receive ample information about their rights and protections under New York State law. Public comment on the new law is being accepted for the next 60 days.
