Governor Andrew Cuomo repeats the state has the operational capacity to do over 100,000 doses a day but is waiting to get more supplies from the Centers for Disease Control.

New York’s health care distribution sites have received 1,304,050 first doses and administered 1,144,070 first dose vaccinations.

The state received 564,600 second doses and has administered 139,929 of those doses.

According to information provided by the Governor's office, the Southern Tier received 38,250 first doses, administering 34,486 of those shots for a 90% rate.

Many counties say they are still being swamped with calls and emails from residents wanting to sign up for vaccines the localities have not yet received.  Officials are urging people not to call their health departments about vaccines.  When doses are received, counties will be notifying residents via the news media and county websites and facebook pages.

Residents, meanwhile, can check the New York State “Am I Eligible” website to see what group they fall in for vaccination priority.
