Last week New York State Police conducted a statewide enforcement campaign focusing on aggressive behaviors of commercial motor vehicle operators. According to a press release, patrols were conducted on sections of I-88 in Chenango, Delaware and Otsego Counties along with other state highways and the New York State Thruway. More than 1,000 inspections were conducted with close to 260 vehicles taken out of service. Over 600 tickets were written including 42 for speeding and 26 for seat belt violations.
