NYSEG Reports Thousands Without Power After Storm Wednesday

Yesterday afternoon, a storm with high winds ripped through Chenango, Delaware and Otsego Counties leaving many without power. As of 6:50 a.m. this morning NYSEG posted the number of households without power:

Chenango County: 974 customers
Delaware County: 730 customers
Otsego County: 2681 customers

After outages are reported by customers, NYSEG provides an estimated time for power restoration. The best way to receive information on that is to sign up for a NYSEG Outage Alert.
