On Saturday, a record number of participants turned out to Oneonta's 6th Ward Booster Club Field to promote suicide awareness and erase the stigma surrounding it, plus raise funds for suicide prevention and education.

According to AllOTSEGO, 285 walkers raised over $22,500 to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention South Central New York Chapter during Oneonta’s eighth annual walk.
