Oneonta YMCA Is Going ‘Country’ With Brantley Gilbert Fundraising Concert
One of the biggest highlights of an Oneonta, NY summer has been the Oneonta Family YMCA's "Mark May Celebrity Concert" which is an annual fundraiser that had to take a few years off due to the coronavirus pandemic. Fortunately, the great event is returning and featuring a platinum country artist this time around - Brantley Gilbert.
Gilbert has a very strong following with back-to-back Platinum albums and is known as a "defiant life-of-the-party" kind of country artist. With seven number one hits: “Country Must Be Country Wide,” “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” “Dirt Road Anthem,” “My Kinda Party,” “Bottoms Up,” “One Hell of an Amen” “What Happens In A Small Town,” Brantley Gilbert is sure to be a home-run artist for the Oneonta YMCA to bring in. Below, you can check out a video of "Country Must Be Country Wide".
The show in Oneonta is coming on August 19th, 2022 with doors at the 6th Ward Booster Club Field in Oneonta opening at 5:00 pm. The concert starts at 7:00 pm with prices ranging from $25 to $275, depending on the type of experience you would like.
If you decide to sit under the giant tent, even if you are toward the back, you can still see thanks to the large view screens of the stage.
Oneonta rarely gets a major recording artist so this is a wonderful opportunity to not only have a great time with an opportunity to see friends you haven't seen in a long time but also to attend a fantastic concert by a big-name artist.
