Elections officials say four of seven Republican primaries held in Otsego County on Tuesday are are too close to call. In the race for Butternuts Highway Superintendent, Dennis Hill had 70 votes, and Jerry Madson, 63 with 11 absentee ballots uncounted.

For Hartwick Highway Superintendent, eight votes separate Koffer from Thorn, but 9 absentees remain.

The candidates for Morris Highway Superintendent – Jonathan Foote and Derrick Anderson – each have 69 votes.

For Richfield Town Council, 37 votes separate the two leading candidateswith 58 absentee ballots yet to be counted.
