The Otsego Land Trust announced it has received a 79 acre conservation easement in the town of Exeter. According to the trust the acreage including forests, hills, farmland, creeks and wetlands was donated by Dr. Pam Lea who has been a veterinarian for the past 40 years and has provided care from cows to cats. Conservation easements allow landowners to continue enjoyment of their properties and may allow limited development while restricting inappropriate projects. Lea bought the property 20 years ago.
