Schoharie Woman Dies In Crash

A 64-year-old Schoharie woman was killed in a collision Tuesday morning on Route 30. According to New York State Police, Janet Loucks drove onto the highway from a private driveway when she collided with a dump truck that was going northbound. Loucks was pronounced dead at the crash scene. There's been no word on if the dump truck driver was hurt. A portion of State Route 30 was closed in both directions as the collision investigation proceeded.
