Winter has been rearing its snowy head lately and overnight tonight the National Weather Service of Binghamton is calling for a Winter Weather Advisory for our Central New York region from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning.  Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego Counties among others will be affected by a wintery mix of precipitation including snow and sleet.

The range of accumulation is anywhere from 2 to 5 inches of snow accumulation and because of patchy freezing rain, road conditions are expected to be slippery with some icing.

The NWS advises to plan on slippery road conditions along.  Also, slow down and use caution while traveling. Call 5 1 1 to get the latest road conditions.
