Something To Do During Spring Break

Not everyone gets to go somewhere or get away for spring break and that's ok if you aren't going anywhere. There are fun things to do right here in town.

I wish there would have been something like this when I was a kid, I would have loved to go to a cake/cupcake decorating class. In fact a few years ago I took a cake decorating class.

The Cake Company of Odessa is hosting hosting a Mommy and Me cupcake decorating class all next week. What is cool is that you get to choose what you want to decorate. You can learn how to design a unicorn, a monster or a St. Patrick's day cupcakes. Best part is you get to take them with you.

Classes are available Tuesday-Friday 11-5. There will be a class every hour on the hour. Space is limited so you will need to sign up quickly. The cost is $40 for 1 parent and 1 child, all supplies are included. It will be $10 for each additional child up to 4.

Come spend a fun filled hour with your favorite bakery and learn how to decorate this cute cupcake design. Brandi will teach you how to color your icing, swirl and decorate. You even get to take your creation home to share with your family and friends.

You can also sign up for the Master Class Brandi from The Cake Company of Odessa is hosting, Saturday March 15th. This class is $150, all supplies are included. You will making a Boho Steer Cake, the class will go over fondant color, texture, technique and board preparation
