Meet the Susquehanna SPCA “Pet of the Week” – his name is “Mister”. Every Tuesday morning on Classic Hits 103.1fm, Allison Hungerford, licensed Vet Tech at the Susquehanna SPCA, will tell us all about a special dog or cat at the shelter looking for its forever home which has been overlooked by visitors for some reason. Many times, it's because many animals are shy while in the shelter because it can be a stressful situation! Once adopted, many cats and dogs warm right up to their owners.

This week we are going to feature Mister, an 11-month-old kitty who is ready to find his forever home. Mister's personality has truly blossomed since arriving at the SQSPCA. At first, Mister was very shy and fearful, especially around new people. However, he is now a friendly guy who enjoys lounging in the community cat rooms. Mister still can be a little shy and wary when he first meets new people, but he warms up to be a sweetie! He would likely adjust best to a quiet home with adopters who will be patient in giving him time to come out of his shell.

To meet Mister or any of the other adoptable dogs and cats, give the SQSPCA a call at 607-547-8111 to schedule a time to visit for convenience and for more personal attention from staff, although walk-ins are welcome. In an effort to find Mister a home as soon as possible, his adoption fee has been waived.
