Tanker Truck Rolls Over In Hamden

County Highway 26 in the town of Hamden was closed Tuesday near East River Road as the result of a tanker truck roll over accident. Police say 51-year-old Ronald Greene from Pennsylvania was heading northbound when the truck’s brakes failed causing Greene to not make the 90-degree turn at that intersection. The truck which was hauling liquid sugar collided with a utility pole and an embankment. Greene was not hurt.
