Remember the giant 400 plus pound pumpkin grown at Delaware Academy in Delhi by students under the direction of master gardener Ed Chytalo?  It has landed with a police escort to its destination: the Hard Rock Cafe in Manhattan's Times Square, where it will be on display.

The Delaware County Sheriff's Office has reported that they were "proud and honored to be a part of Delaware Academy’s “Great Pumpkin Detail” on Saturday." The pumpkin was transported by Civil Officer, Bob Mantzouratos from Delaware Academy in Delhi to the Hard Rock Café along with DA Superintendent, Jason Thomson, and several students and school representatives.

Students and visitors were given a special treat by the NYPD and had the opportunity to tour the Counter Terrorism Headquarters and be personally escorted to the Hard Rock via NYPD motor detail. Check out the photos below...
