It took a late surge of votes on Taste of Country Nights radio to give Thompson Square a third straight Showdown win on Monday. The duo's new song 'If I Didn't Have You' squeaked by Kelly Clarkson's new single 'Don't Rush,' but the path to the Hall of Fame won't be any easier on Tuesday.

The Band Perry's new single 'Better Dig Two' gets a second shot on the Showdown after falling to Chris Young last month. The spooky song was brand new then. After a few weeks on the radio, more fans have become aware of the lead single from their second album. It's a battle of two of the hottest groups in country music today.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online, and as much as you want by calling (888) 678-9995. If a song wins five days in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
