Ultimate Good Guy Gives Homeless Man His Shirt on Subway
Anyone who thinks New York City is full of mean people really ought to take a look at this.
A man on a subway in the city was captured on video giving a homeless man his shirt. As if that wasn't enough, he also gave him a snow cap to cover his head.
The man behind the gesture is 23-year-old Joey Resto, who was the only person willing to give the man any positive attention, since everyone else sat far from him due to his smell.
Resto said, "He looked so weak and frail. I had to help him, or he would not put it on."
Lazaro Nolasco, who recorded the encounter, told the New York Daily News, "The guy did a good deed, so I wanted to record it. I would tell him, 'God bless him.' That was thoughtful."
Sure was. So, still think all New Yorkers are rude?
