Federal authorities say 42 year-old Jeremie Hoyt of Davenport has pleaded guilty to child pornography charges. Hoyt admitted in court that he made and distributed a video of a child engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Hoyt remains locked up and is facing at least 15 years to 110 years in prison.

Audubon Summer Camps Return, Bringing Back Education And Fun To Local Kids
After a two year hiatus due to Covid, the Audubon Summer Camps will return this season. There will be two sessions. The July 25-28 session is for children entering grades 3 and 4. And the August 15-18 session is for youngsters entering grades 5 and 6.

New York State troopers arrested Kenneth A. Carson, 37, on April 10th and charged him with multiple felonies. He allegedly attempted a break-in of a Springfield home. An investigation found Carson in possession of “ghost” guns, weapons without serial numbers, a home-made machine gun, and other weapons.

During April, NYSP will be participating in National Distracted Driving Awareness Month. The crackdown will include increased patrol and checkpoints targeting drivers using electronic devices. The enhanced enforcement will run through April 11th.
